Our Story
The story of MY VIP Care begins with a mother of three who discovered that one of her children had autism at the age of 2. This was a challenging time for the family, but the mother’s unconditional love and support were unwavering throughout the 21 years of her son’s life. The CEO of MY VIP Care, Janice Yap, is the sister of this dedicated mother and has witnessed the family’s struggles, providing great support along their journey. Janice’s personal experience with a family member who has a disability inspired her to create an organization that would make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. She envisioned MY VIP Care as a provider of prestigious, exemplary quality of care, not only for individuals with disabilities but also for their families and guardians. The organization aims to grow and strengthen by fostering a family-positive atmosphere, believing that a family-centered approach helps people with disabilities develop deeper connections with their existing relationships and effectively build networks within the community. Janice firmly believes that people with disabilities deserve to have a meaningful life and the opportunity to thrive wherever they are.
Why we’re here?
My VIP Care is the bridge to assist people with disabilities looking for care and support, and those looking to provide it. All of this is done through our caring and compassionate staff.
We provide people with the ability to choose and self-schedule specific care and support workers in their community. At the same time, My VIP Care enables flexible and rewarding careers for support workers – all at transparent prices agreed directly between independent workers and their clients.
